Heartland Mule Riders Assoc. Fish Fry

It's about time once again for our club fish fry.  This year the event will take place at the Creal Springs Park on September 11, at noon.  Please bring a covered dish and ENJOY!

Stonefort Ride 2010

Saturday, August 28 was the Heartland Mule Riders annual Stonefort ride.  We began the day at the Dahmer Farm, riding out at 10 a.m.  Morning temps were very comfortable and for the most part, the entire day was beautiful.  Midday became a little warm with temps around 90˚, however we experienced gentle breezes and some light cloud cover for most of the ride.  The majority of riders enjoyed their sack lunches at Indian Camp Church on the outskirts of Dykersburg.  Our ride ended at the Stonefort Reunion grounds at approximately 3 p.m.

HMRA will have their next ride at Giant City on September 11, at 10 a.m.  See you there!

Ice Cream Social - CANCELED

Hello everyone!  Just wanted to get this out to any of you who were planning to attend this Saturday's
(7/17/10) scheduled Ice Cream Social, this event has been canceled.  It is possible we may be able to re-schedule this in the future but as of now there is nothing planned.  If you know of anyone else planning to attend, please pass this along to them as well.

Conley Ride/Drive 2010

Heartland Mule Riders enjoyed a ride/drive Saturday, May 15 near New Burnside, IL at our annual Conley Ride.  We were all quite sure we would get a good soaking before the day was done.  Fortunately, we were wrong!  We had a great day to enjoy a wonderful ride.

Spring Dahmer Ride 2010

Saturday, April 17 was our annual Spring Dahmer Ride.  This ride starts at 10 a.m. from Karl Dahmer's farm  east of Marion, IL to New Burnside, IL.  The day was perfect for a ride either on horseback or in a wagon.  There were nine horseback riders and four wagons/teams.  Everyone stopped in Creal Springs, IL for lunch then proceeded on to Parker City and on into New Burnside about 3:00 p.m.

It was a beautiful day for an autumn ride.
